Before you upgrade
Do I need to know about finance?
No. Upload a file from your broker or type in what you bought, and Portfoli keeps track of what you own, what it cost and how much you have made.
Will I get a receipt for my accountant?
Yes. Every payment comes with a tax invoice you can find in your account. Whether you can claim the cost depends on your situation, so check with a registered tax agent.
How do overseas currencies work?
Everything is shown in Australian dollars. A trade in another currency is converted at the exchange rate on the day of the trade, and the amount in the original currency is shown next to it.
Can I track my family's investments?
Yes, on Pro. Keep a portfolio for each person, or for each platform (such as Raiz, CommSec or Stake), and see each one on its own or all together. Each has its own records and its own tax statement.
What happens after the free trial?
You get all of Pro for 14 days. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.
